Adapting to climate change and redeveloping schoolyards into islands of freshness, renaturating them, de-silting them, for what objectives and benefits, how, with whom, what studies have been carried out, what materials and plants used?
In order to help local authorities who are asking themselves all these questions and to provide them with tools on how and why, the South Region, the Water Agency, the French Office for Biodiversity, ADEME, CEREMA and ARBE are joining forces to offer a series of 4 webinars, from the general issues of desilting schoolyards to the more technical aspects.
This cycle of webinars is part of the capitalization and transferability of the Citizen Mobilization Workshop action, during which the NCFL project team accompanied several communities to work with the entire educational community (teachers, children, parents, technical services, elected officials, rectorate, ...) on the renaturation and desilting of schoolyards. This work was the subject of a methodological sheet that you will find there http://www.nature4citylife.eu/fileadmin/user_upload/5_Actions/Projet_NFCL_Fiche_methode_atelier_desimpermeabilisation.pdf
Through this cycle of 4 webinars, discover, from numerous examples, how to place the well-being and the reconnection of young people to nature thanks to the desilting and the renaturation of schoolyards.
