Blue Green City, a partner of the Nature for City LIFE project, is a network of municipalities and regions co-financed by Interreg Europe (2019-2023). It seeks to improve for sustainable cities policies that promote green and blue infrastructure (GBI) as part of a local or regional natural heritage strategy.
Thus BLUE GREEN CITY aims to increase individual, organizational, stakeholder and external knowledge of the concept of ecosystem services and the value of GBI through project events, workshops and training.
This is done through a cross-regional policy learning process and collaboration to find common solutions to common challenges posed by climate change adaptation and through experience sharing and exchange of good practices.
In this framework, the final conference on October 11 and 12 will bring together partners and their stakeholders to share their experiences of the interregional learning process and discuss best practice recommendations for improving policy instruments that promote blue and green infrastructure.
