The students of the Marseille School of Design, as part of the "Artistic Investments" project, are proposing in a book of ideas their versions of the artistic works that are planned to be installed on the GR 2013 itinerary, the message of these works being to give a different view of the issues of nature in the city and adaptation to climate change.
The message of these works is to give a different view of the issues of nature in the city and adaptation to climate change. Based on the criteria defined with the Guide Bureau to identify potential sites (accessibility of the site, maintenance and management of the works, presence of water, quality of the soil, but above all the link with the NFCL project issues: role of nature in the city in adapting to climate change), the 9 4th year DSAA students from the Marseille School of Design provide creative, utopian, pragmatic, playful and colourful answers to the complex question: how can the object/work show the services provided by nature in the city in adapting to climate change, and what message should be conveyed in order to reach the greatest number of people?
This work was supervised by René Ragued, a teacher at the ESDM, Marie-Caroline Vallon from the project team and Natacha Crimier and Anaïs Triolaire from the Smart Factory department, who are in charge of the partnership with the design schools.
These works will complement the artistic creations that will be produced in the coming months. The Region SUD, in charge of this action, will launch a market to select several artists/designers.
