We would like to inform you of the launch of the 1st edition of the Life ARTISAN Climate Change Adaptation Awards, which took place on 7 September 2021, during the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) World Conservation Congress.
Initiated by the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME), in partnership with the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB) and the National Observatory on the Effects of Global Warming (ONERC), these awards recognise the adaptation actions carried out in all French territories by private and public actors involved in adaptation to climate change.
This competition rewards exemplary and concrete actions based on nature-based solutions that promote the capacity of territories to adapt to climate change. These solutions, based on the services provided by ecosystems, have the advantage of addressing both climate and biodiversity issues.
