"As part of its "Thursdays, I say climate", the metropolis has been organizing a series of webinars for nearly two years to raise awareness and publicize its climate and energy plan. The one dedicated to nature in the city is now available for replay. It shows that actions of preservation, sustainable management and restoration of ecosystems allow to adapt territories to the impacts of climate change, creating benefits for humans and biodiversity. After a presentation of the concept of adaptation solutions based on nature, by the regional animator of the Life ARTISAN project, the project of the Huveaune watershed syndicate in the Apple district of Marseille was developed. In a highly constrained urban environment, heavily degraded and subject to the risk of flooding, the objective of this project is to renaturalize the banks of the river to protect the residents from a ten-year flood ".
