Europe goes green with EU Green Week from 21 to 25 May!

From 21 to 25 May, EU Green Week will be held on the theme "Green cities for a greener future".

Every year during EU Green Week, Europe celebrates the environment with a week dedicated to European environmental policy. All the actors and stakeholders concerned analyse, debate and reflect on European environmental action. This year's highlight of the environmental policy agenda will be "Greener cities for a greener future" and will officially start on 21 May in Utrecht (Netherlands) and end on 25 May in Madrid (Spain) with a highlight at the Brussels Summit from 22 to 24 May.

The South Provence-Alpes Côte d'Azur Region will be present on 23 May at this summit of the EU's green cities and will take part in the discussion sessions "Nature in cities" (session 3.1) and "Towards greener cities: citizens, drivers of change" (session 4.3). Without forgetting the speed-dating of the green cities organized within the framework of the evening events!

- Saturday 12 May: Urban walk in Foresta (Marseille)

- Tuesday 15 May: monitoring of the Palyvestre coastal river at Hyères-Toulon
- Tuesday 5 June: Urban walk in the Saint-Mandrier sector (Toulon)
