"Social Representations of Nature in the City".

Monday 16 November 2020, from 12 noon to 1 pm

Nearly a hundred of you attended the webinar "Social Representations of Nature in the City" on Monday 16 November from 12 noon to 1 pm and we would like to thank you for this..

This webinar presented the results of the sociological surveys carried out between 2018 and 2019, as part of the Nature for City LIFE* project, among inhabitants, local authority technicians and elected representatives of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regional territory by the Population Environment Development Laboratory (LPED) of Aix-Marseille University in collaboration with Carole Barthélémy of the LPED, Aurélien Allouche of the Ressource design office and Laurence Nicolas of the Façon de dire design office.

Different issues were addressed: what are the stakes involved in public policies for the greening of the city and how do we measure the differences between the different expectations of nature in the city? How can these representations be articulated within the framework of an integrated environmental policy?

As agreed, you will find enclosed the powerpoint presented during this webinar as well as the results of the surveys conducted among elected officials and technicians in 2019 as part of the Nature for City LIFE project.
