Among the different actions implemented in the framework of our project, Atmosud carries the climate monitoring action which consists in installing a set of micro-sensors able to record data for the following parameters: temperature, humidity, ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), particles (PM10 and PM2.5). The aim is to demonstrate the benefits in terms of air quality and thermal regulation by creating islands of coolness brought by nature in the city.
These sensors have been installed on 18 sites with strong characteristics in terms of nature in the city : parks and public gardens, renatured and desilted public spaces, identified on the territories of the 3 metropolises Nice Côte d'Azur, Toulon Provence Méditerranée and Aix Marseille Metropole.
You will find in the attached table all the equipped sites allowing to identify the sensors as well as a document with pictures of these equipments installed in each metropolis.
AtmoSud has also created a database accessible to all for the consultation of the data from the sensors.
